Hansel as a procurement partner
There was extensive discussion on public procurement in 2022. We were determined to play our part in ensuring that public procurement was carried out as efficiently and professionally as possible, in compliance with requirements and working towards the set goals.
Operations
Our stakeholders value our expertise in procurement law. In 2022, it came in handy when we were dealing with issues such as the ethical aspects of restrictive measures on behalf of our customers. The highlight of the year was the resumption of meetings in person.
Finances
Joint procurement reached a record amount of €1.3 billion. The volume of tendering for customers also increased. The number of tendering procedures provided as a service was 204. Nearly €400,000 worth of procurement development projects were realised for customers.
Renewing procurement
We carried out a wide range of assignments for our customers, assisting them in achieving their procurement targets. We also tried something new with minicompetitions, as three of our customers arranged a joint competitive bidding for occupational healthcare services.
Sustainable procurement
We are constantly looking for new ways to promote sustainable procurement. We subject our joint procurement projects to a comprehensive sustainability analysis. In 2022, we launched our first sustainability audit, which focused on social responsibility in the cleaning services industry.as an emp
Hansel as an employer
At the end of the year, Hansel employed 128 people. In-house communications training brought people together after the remote work period. The staff’s Hansel Club also became active again, and we were able to organise several events.
GRI
Hansel reports on its sustainability efforts in compliance with the GRI standards, and the reporting is based on a materiality matrix. The responsibility report that is part of the annual report is verified by a third party.
